Ming H2 Wu: IMMERSION

Immersion is the result of more than 15 years of exploring underwater fine art photography, artistic expression, and experimentation, marking a significant achievement representing the creation of breathtaking underwater art and innovative photographic artistic endeavors.

Ming H2 Wu is a working professional commercial photographer and artist based in Los Angeles, CA who began his underwater photography journey in 2005 and quickly caught the attention of fashion and beauty publications. Since then, he has been dedicated to his underwater photography projects and fine art, experimenting with various techniques to create stunning images of the human form in an imaginative underwater world.

Originally from Taipei, Taiwan, Ming moved to the U.S. in the mid-90s to pursue his education. He earned a B.A. in commercial photography from the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA, and an M.A. in photography from Ohio University, Scripps College of Visual Communication. Ming’s fascination with underwater photography culminated in the publication of “In Depth – The Rise of Underwater Model Photography,” which is considered a valuable academic resource for photography students.
