Photography Walk with PVAC and Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy

- FREEJoin Dennis Keeley, a participant in Habitat California: Flora & Fauna, when he leads a photography group on a nature walk March 14, 9 – 11 am at the Linden H. Chandler Preserve in Rolling Hills Estates (north of Dapplegray Elementary School).
This event is free to the public and presented in partnership with the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy. The walk is a guided journey through native plants blooming on land preserved by the Conservancy and restored as habitat for the endangered Palos Verdes blue butterfly and other local species. The native wildflowers on the rolling hills of the Chandler Preserve is the ideal inspiration for a photography-focused exploration with Dennis Keeley and the Conservancy. All ages welcome. Directions: Park at the Rolling Hills Little League lot. Turn into Dapplegray Elementary School and make the first left to 3011 Palos Verdes Drive North, Rolling Hills Estates 90274
Dennis Keeley works as an artist, photographer, teacher, and writer. His photographs have been exhibited in numerous one-person and group exhibitions, and his work has been published internationally in books and studies concerning urban circumstance. He has been commissioned by California African American Museum in Los Angeles and has works in the permanent collections at LACMA, MOCA, J. Paul Getty Center Trust, Conservation and Research Institutes, among others.
He is the chair of the Photography and Imaging Program at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.
