JUROR’S STATEMENT

This season naturally invites reflection and connection, and The Winter Show beautifully embodies both. The selected works represent a wide range of talents, techniques, and approaches while also highlighting the diverse ways artists engage with their materials and ideas.

In reviewing the submissions, I was especially drawn to pieces in which the artists’ concepts were thoughtfully translated into form, with works that demonstrated curiosity, intentionality, and a willingness to push into new territory. The breadth of innovative methods, material exploration, skill, and conceptual depth became a guiding thread throughout the selection process.

As we come together to experience this exhibition, I hope you’ll take time to appreciate the vibrant colors, rich textures, careful craftsmanship, layered narratives, and personal reflections that each artist brings forward. It has been an honor to serve as juror for this showcase, and I hope you enjoy the results of this year’s creative investigations and artistic range as much asI have.
