Tyau creates a pop, trompe l’œil take on a classic game, but with the twist of making the piece in the unlikely and ironic material of glass. In his work and in the piece, he raises the question of the relationship between glass, function, materiality, and art. Tyau studied at Fullerton and he assists Kazuki Takizawa in his hot shop since 2019.
