Danielle Brensinger, Column, 2023, flame-worked glass, 156 x 35 in x 35 in

DANIELLE BRENSINGER

Brensigner creates a large, ethereal sculptural column of long chains by bending and fusing flame-worked glass rods in a meditative and repetitive process. Her intricate loops of glass are a play on tension, indicative of her desire to place glass in new contexts and move away from its original functional purposes. She shares a studio in downtown Los Angeles with her partner, Adam Cohen.
