AMANDA MCDONALD STERN
Stern’s keen sense of design enlivens her pure, clearly articulated and multilayered vessels. Her modular container pieces are formed by nesting volumes of color and shape that become figurative, as though one is peering through corporeal layers into the heart and core of a body, or at a futuristic, elongated face.
