ADAM GREGORY COHEN

Originally from New York, Cohen’s altarlike panels allude subtly to the dizzying density of a cityscape and to the gridded patterns of modern architecture. His wall sculptures are the optical translation of pulsating rhythms in urban life. Since moving to Los Angeles, he focuses on casting and fusing glass along with moldmaking and slumping and he frequently fabricates work for other artists in the downtown studio that he shares with partner Danielle Brensinger.
