PVAC Annual Student Art Exhibition
May 5 – May 27, 2023
Reception: Friday, May 5, 4-6 pm

Palos Verdes Art Center/Beverly G. Alpay Center for Arts Education proudly presents Annual Student Art Exhibition, featuring Palos Verdes Peninsula student artwork.
Art At Your Fingertips is a Palos Verdes Art Center school-based outreach program that brings visual arts education to elementary school classrooms from transitional kindergarten through fifth grade.
Established in 1976, this program reaches 6,000 students annually on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Run completely by parent volunteers, AAYF’s paramount objective is to make every child feel comfortable using art as a means of expression.
Projects selected for 2022-23 are “American Campfire” by Jake Tedesco, “Quilling Ocean Sunset Wave” by Jo Salampessy, “Manga Art” by Ashish Sharma, “Hanging Gardens of Babylon” by Lee-Jean Lin, and “Klimt-Ornate Patterns” by Robin Kiss.
Participating Palos Verdes Peninsula schools include: Cornerstone, Dapplegray, Lunada Bay, Mira Catalina, Montemalaga, Peninsula Montesorri, Point Vicente, Rancho Vista, Rolling Hills Country Day, Silver Spur, St. John Fisher, Soleado, and Vista Grande with participation by The Center for Learning Unlimited in Torrance and Watts Learning Center.
We thank our parent volunteers, contributing artists and participating schools and their PTOs and PTAs for their support.
Wearing face masks is strongly encouraged when visiting the Art Center.
