Immersion is the result of more than 15 years of exploring underwater fine art photography, artistic expression, and experimentation, marking a significant achievement representing the creation of breathtaking underwater art and innovative photographic artistic endeavors.

Ming H2 Wu is a working professional commercial photographer and artist based in Los Angeles, CA who began his underwater photography journey in 2005 and quickly caught the attention of fashion and beauty publications. Since then, he has been dedicated to his underwater photography projects and fine art, experimenting with various techniques to create stunning images of the human form in an imaginative underwater world.

Originally from Taipei, Taiwan, Ming moved to the U.S. in the mid-90s to pursue his education. He earned a B.A. in commercial photography from the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA, and an M.A. in photography from The Ohio University, Scripps College of Visual Communication. Ming’s fascination with underwater photography culminated in the publication of “In Depth – The Rise of Underwater Model Photography,” which is considered a valuable academic resource for photography students.

Ming’s underwater photographic art has gained national and international recognition, transitioning from the fashion and beauty industry to the realm of fine art. He has consistently won photography competitions and exhibited his work at art shows, and his fashion and commercial photography have been featured on numerous magazine covers, editorial pages, and in advertising campaigns worldwide.

Ming’s underwater fine art images have also been displayed on popular TV shows and installations at prestigious events, such as the L.A. Art Show.

He has never ceased his pursuit of learning and creating photography and continuously challenges himself to capture stunning underwater art, seizing every opportunity no matter where he finds himself. His devotion to his craft remains unwavering to this day.
