JUROR: YULIA GASIO

Yulia Gasio is a Ukrainian-born artist who lives and practices art in California. Her works have been featured in numerous exhibitions regionally and nationally, and are in private and public collections that include Ukraine Institute of Modern Art in Chicago, Ukraine Cultural Center Los Angeles, Osten Collection Skopje, North Macedonia, and Creative Spark Centre, Dundalk, Ireland. She earned an MA in Art History from California State University Fresno and MFA in Drawing and Painting from California State University Long Beach and is also a recipient of multiple awards and scholarships. Yulia is an Assistant Professor teaching Drawing and Painting at California State University Long Beach.

Juror’s Selections Announced via CaFÉ: Monday, November 4, 2024

Take-In of Selected Works: Monday, November 25 – 9:00 to 11:00 am

Opening Reception: Friday, December 6 – 6:00 to 9:00 pm

Close of Show: Saturday, January 4, 2025

Art Pick-Up: Monday, January 6 – 9:00 to 11:00 am

ONLINE SUBMISSIONS PROCEDURE:

• Go to www.callforentry.org
• Create a CaFÉ profile.
• Follow step-by-step instructions in CaFÉ for creating a profile. Please be sure to identify your media and substrate, i.e. oil on canvas, digital on copper, etc.
• Apply to call for The Winter Show. You may submit up to 3 pieces of art once your profile in CaFÉ is complete.
• Artists may submit only 3 images (one per entry).

• For assistance with CaFÉ submission, email cafehelp@westaf.org.
• Requirement for Entry: Current PVAC member in good standing. If you are not a current member, you may join at pvartcenter.org before submitting your entry.
