DESCRIPTION:Now Trending: Alpay Scholarship Exhibition \nARTIST CALL: CANCELED \nExhibition: June 6 – July 2\, 2020 \nEnter at callforentry.org \nCurrent art and media students from Southern California colleges and universities are invited to submit new work to be showcased in Palos Verdes Art Center’s Alpay Scholarship Exhibition\, Now Trending. One $5000 scholarship will be awarded. This call is open to undergraduate and graduate students. \nAll media considered\, including: \n\nPainting\nDrawing\nPrinting\nSculpture\nGlass\nCeramics\nFiber art\nPhotography\nVideo\nFilm\nVR (virtual reality)\nAR (augmented reality)\nInstallation art\nPerformance art\nSound art\nMixed media\n\n  \nJuror:   Dennis Keeley \nDennis Keeley works as an artist\, photographer\, teacher and writer.  His photographs have been exhibited in numerous one person and group exhibitions\, and his work has been published internationally in books and studies concerning urban circumstance.  He has been commissioned by the California African American Museum in Los Angeles\, and has works in the permanent collections at LACMA\, MOCA\, the J. Paul Getty Center Trust\, Conservation and Research Institutes among others. \n  \nHe is the chair of the Photography and Imaging Program at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena\, California. \n\nOpen to all current Southern California college and university art and media studies students\n$5000 scholarship award\nEnter through callforentry.org\nNo submission fee\nUp to three (3) submissions\nSubmission deadline April 15\, 2020\nExhibition dates\, June 6 – July 2\, 2020\n\nSince 1998\, The Beverly G.
