DESCRIPTION:SHANE O’DONNELL: NEON + RUST\nArtist Talk: Saturday\, March 7\, 1 – 3pm\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us at PVAC Saturday\, March 7\, for an artist talk and exhibition walk through by Shane O’Donnell. \nA South Bay photographer turned painter\, Shane O’Donnell brings his passion for Americana to Neon + Rust\, a showcase of his recent canvases exploring vintage neon signs and their aging patina. What began as a personal challenge to elevate with paint what he captured with his camera\, O’Donnell has committed to documenting historic neon signage\, along with the building facades that support them\, in a distinctive photorealism-inspired style. The result is a body of work that portrays their decaying beauty with remarkable precision and a fresh perspective that merits a closer look. \nShane O’Donnell is a professional advertising and editorial photographer based in Los Angeles. He was born in Wisconsin and studied photojournalism at the University of Missouri\, Columbia. This is his first solo painting exhibition.

Beautiful linens\, china\, silver\, fine and costume jewelry…we offer all these and other unique estate finds at Collected Treasures\, a curated collection of special items at special prices. \nSILENT AUCTION\nDon’t miss out on the fun Silent Auction to be held on Friday and Saturday. Bidding on items ends at 4 pm on Saturday. Absent high bidders will be notified\, so you do not need to be present when the auction ends. If you find something you just have to have\, there will be a “Buy It Now” option to close the deal and end the bidding on that item. \nThe Circle’s Collected Treasures fundraiser benefits Palos Verdes Art Center / Beverly G. Alpay Center for Arts Education\, which has dedicated over 90 years to educating\, enriching\, and building community through equal and inclusive access to the visual arts. Since its inception in 1975\, The Circle of Palos Verdes Art Center has been the fundraising support group for Palos Verdes Art Center (PVAC).  The Circle of Palos Verdes’ efforts have raised over $2\,000\,000 to support art and art education in our community.
