Crackheadbarney is a human disruption.  Working with intervention as a medium her raw energy engages the transgressive. In a gallery or on the streets of NYC her social commentary is served with bushels of chaos. Though her work is easily observed as spectacle, the underlying jabs at our culture’s most suppressed taboos turn intense street performance into explorations of propriety, ethnicity, identity, and the boundaries between the public and personal.
